What is Unit testing (UT)?
Unit testing (UT) is a process for verifying a single unit of software, the function, itself defined as the smallest non-divisible part of a source code. The aim is to compare the function's code with the corresponding design requirements, and thus to ensure that it behaves in the way described in the specifications.
